We have a local run called Brew to Brew. It's a 44 mile relay and solo run in April. I've considered doing it a couple of times and never have. I just ran a 3:09.30 at NOLA sunday to test my legs for Brew to Brew. I have ran a 3:10, and 3:12 at other similar marathons. It will be my first attempt at anything over 26.2 miles. Any thoughts on what I can expect timewise? I plan to keep my mileage high and consistent as I approach but probably will not run much more than a 20 miler or two for my long runs between now and April. I ran NOLA at a 7:14 pace, and ran a very steady race the whole time. Do I go for brew to brew at an 8:14 pace? Slower? Thanks.
