Well of course we will see a decrease in the competitive level of track and field as the first swimming boom takes off. As sea levels rise and flood the entire world swimming will be the running of the 21st century.
Only in the northern hemisphere - in the southern hemisphere, the increasing counterclockwise coriolis-induced wind currents will actually make outdoor time FASTER.
It'll cause slower times as much as the tooth fairy will cause decreased sleep to children across the world & force decreased attention spans in class.
