I've been racing for a while and have noticed some trends and was wondering a couple questions.
How is the best way to run at this caliber if you are a distance oriented runner?
How is the best way to run at this caliber if you are a sprinter oriented runner?
For instance is it more efficient for a distance athlete to go out hard in 1:21 and let their endurance carry them through the bell lap; or is it more efficient for a distance runner to go out soft and let the sprinters run the hard first 400-600 snd kick a hard last lap instead. Also vice-versa for the fast twich type half milers.
