He is too big of a star to ban him for 1 or 2 years.

I heard he is no longer eating imported cow meat ;)
That's too bad. If it wasn't already, cycling's legitimacy is nil after this.
F!
I keep thinking that cycling can't sink any lower, and that sport keeps proving me wrong.

Sad, but it's not uncommon for national governing bodies to rule in favor of their own countries' stars in these cases. Whether UCI moves forward with a serious appeal to the Court of Sport should give us an indication of UCI's resolve in cracking down on doping by the stars of cycling. I suspect that Pat McQuaid and UCI are all too happy to drop this matter, but WADA may have a very different view.
It's really not much better than what the Spanish federation suggested first - a one year ban. Even that would have been appealed.
He either gets a two year ban or cycling will be dead for even more people, for a long long time.
I hope & I mean this; after this please give Landis his title back. Drugs are the evolution of all sport. If this guy really gets off please get off lance's sack.
We'll get off Lance's sack when he admits that he's a hypocritical charlatan...
I don't know who this contator dude is but if he gets cleared maybe that fellow named Contador will get cleared also. That would be great for the sport of cycling to know that the really fast guy was indeed clean.
