You may be aware of this theory. Do you believe? Why do you think people do not accept it as they do with religion. I mean people call you crazy if you believe that our ancestors were aliens but if you believe that Jesus did miracles and such and are a devote christian that's ok.
One is a religion and therefore requires faith not evidence. The other claims to be an historical account and requires evidence of which there is none.
