I wanna hear insane stories about high-maintenance girlfriends or disastrous Valentine's Day screw-ups.
I would start by sharing one of my own stories but fortunately, so far, I've avoided any major V-day blunders.

The bitch asked why I didn't get her dark chocolates. At least you got something you trifling bitch.
my gf wanted me to say happy valentine's day to her. i figured after a year of dating i didnt need to. apparently i was wrong. true story. and i probably was wrong
I had a girlfriend who told me a few weeks before Valentines Day that she wasn't into the whole idea of the holiday and didn't want us to exchange gifts or anything, just treat it like a regular day. I was pretty happy to hear that, saves me some money and effort. Well, Valentines Day rolls around and I don't have anything for her (as she asked) and she starts bitching at me, telling me I don't care. I get defensive and tell her "Well you told me not to get you anything". Her exact response "I was testing you!" She didn't get me anything though.
I hate this holiday.
Gee, she sounds like a keeper! Run away now while you still can.

Don't worry, I dropped her like a hot potato.

If you put it on a plate, it won't be that hot.
My wife said that she hates Valentines Day, but I would be in the doghouse if I did not say it in the morning, do something nice for dinner, and get her a small gift.
Don't fall into the trap.

Yeah, you probably should have at least said it..
I spent 300 bucks on my gf of 20 months for valentines day when I was 19. Kept going out with her for another year and spending money like an idiot.
wtf was I thinking? I'm 24 now and have learned my lesson about women. Never spend money on them you don't have to.
Also, don't have a committed relationship with a girl before the age of 22. It would be wiser to burn half your money and be single.

women just like the idea of hating valentine's day. Its popular to like hating valentines day now, despite the fact that most women actually like it and expect something.
My sister\'s boyfriend proposed to her yesterday. I guess he flubbed it a little bit, but she didn\'t care.
The funnier story is how he REALLY flubbed asking my Dad\'s permission. He basically ambushed him at like 6am because it was the only time he could find him alone. My dad came downstairs all groggy to find the dude sitting there in his den. Then he miscommunicated the request so badly, my dad thought they had already gotten engaged and that they had kept it a secret from everyone. My sister walked in the room and my Dad almost congratulated her on the engagement and let the cat out of the bag!
Didn't your sister think it odd that her boyfriend was talking to her dad at 6am? More info please.
