Egypt is one of the biggest players in the Islamic world, if the country ends up being run by extremists the US is screwed in the region, and more countries will revolt from their US backed puppet leaders.
afghanistan was desired by the russians for its vast natural gas reserves, we stopped them and now we fight the same people we gave RPG's to. the whole of the middle east concern is over who controls the flow of oil. If the muslims control it and not US backed puppet governments get ready for $10 a gallon of gas. Now imagine going to war over oil.....lots of musilms and the US is already spread thin. This will be an ugly summer for america.
