I have had an extended base mileage session due to some setbacks. I have now completed my 9th week of just mileage at 650-710 pace, 60mpw average.
The past few days my legs just feel unresponsive. I take days off and I don't force anything so I know im not overtrained.
I rarely do strides so maybe thats part of the problem but anyway I am going to start doing workouts this week coming up. Would tossing in an all out sprint session per week, say 10-12 sec. all out hills w/ full recov., "wake" my legs up and make them responsive again?
