i think some of these might be wrong. But i think lagat already had like the indoor 1500m, mile, 3k, and 5k records. and outdoor 1500, 3000, 5000.
Excellent job also getting the 2mile. Just adds to his impressive resume. But really this isnt something new for lagat, it just reinforces something we already know.
but on the subject of bias, i dont appreciate the headline about washingtons "illegal track"
not only that. do we need to say "4 Collegians (5 Overall) Break Four On LEGAL Track At BU!"
As long as ncaa recgonizes an oversized track as a legal mark for qualifing for nationals, its fair game.
i can understand frustration with the seemingly advantage an oversized track gives. but untill something is actaully proven (nothing is right?), i'm gonna assume its mental.
dont downgrade someones performance because you think its unfair, just step-up your game yourself. Or if you cant beat em, join em.
