So I got my D-Tag for the Hustle up the Hancock today and before I knew it it was stuck to the fridge with a magnet. Will this effect the performance of the tag (wreck it). Please help. I'd like it to work.

You're fine.
The D-Tag uses a RFID chip, which does not store the information magnetically. Magnets do not affect RFID chips.

Like the other guy said, no magnetic storage used. You can kill it if you put it in the microwave or perhaps some other very high power electromagnetic field, but not with a fridge magnet.
