Yeah she lost in the final sprint.

Wow!!! What a finish between the two, Hasay was so close!
my feed wasn't working, who'd she lose to and in what time?
She looset?
To Lauren Bonds, an ex-collegiate! 4:34.65 to 4:34.75!!!
So, she lost to a pro. It's amazing, she is only a sophomore and is already running as fast as most of the pros.
Lauren Bonds is post collegiate, but hardly "pro", lets stop blowing smoke up our asses. She is good for her age, but lets get over going crazy every time she races and save it for when she actually impresses. What did she run the 1500 like 2 or 3 years ago, a slower equivalent, right?
Learn to spell. Looks like you were trying to tell us jordan hasay had "loose" stool during her race

Um, why would that be a bad thing that she ran a SLOWER equivalent 2-3 years ago? Why would you even state that?
Bond has improved drastically over the past few years. From 4:30 to 4:20 to 4:14 in the 1500 last year. Her mile pr in 2008 was 4:47i. So she's come a long way and is still seeing sharp improvement, so i'd say it's a pretty exciting day for her at least and her future.
We have jealousy issues here
Lauren is currently in law school at Duke, and flew to Washington off a full week of school. I bet she is going to blow people away this summer.

2nd and 3rd sentences are referring to Hasay?

Yes. mmr82 didn't get that (as usual).
Good run for Hasay, but no better thna Reid/Van Buskirk (even if they are older). People have to stop putting her on a pedestal as if she is already a world-class runner, as she still has a a lot of developing to go to get there. Given what she did earlier in HS, she should be running this fast, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, nor should it be cause for any fanfare either.
People are still impressed because she is actually still performing at a high level, unlike many other top HS girls. Also, wasn't this a PR for her in the mile?
Blood was supposed to rabbit, but got out slow and was boxed in the first 400, which was in 72+. Better pace would have given a strength runner like Hasay a few seconds, so she is in good shape. Good to see Brie getting back into it as well.
Hasay's progression is remarkably Rupp-like.
True, she is as consistent as they get as far as a normal progression. Thankfully she isn't starving herself to get there. Jordan looks very healthy, happy and still has the desire to improve.
