thats funny. as if there is anything wrong with being liberal. if you are liberal that basically means you want to improve the country, of course there is so a thing as too liberal. but luckily most people on the left these days are moderately liberal. bad news is most people on the right are extreme conservatives. anyway, of course the media is mostly liberal. they deal with the news every single day and realize that we have to improve things and not take large terrible steps backwards like conservatives want.

I've seen quite a bit of reporting about the more negative polls, including quite prominently at allegedly liberal Huffington Post. OP, your supposition has no validity. Have a lovely evening.

No liberal would send murdering militants to Iraq, Pakistan, Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. No liberal would imprison 10 million Semitic Muslims and Caucasian Muslims in concentration camps in Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. A true liberal would end the US Crusades and grant full human rights to every native inhabitant of the Middle East. That's what it's all about.

People who use language like "liberals" and "mainstream media" pretty much betray the limited and Limbaugh (or Hannity or FOX or Palin) induced perspective they're coming from, so who cares what they have to say? "Liberal" doesn't even have any real meaning in political dialogue anymore, just as "conservatives" aren't conservative at all.

When did "liberal" become a dirty word? "Liberal" is derived from a word that means "freedom". Popular freedom is generally a considered a positive thing, in modern, western, democratic societies.

The truth is also liberating. It's generally considered that governments that allow their "press" to tell the incensored truth, is a measure of the freedom a society.

Does it follow then that a "press" which tells the whole, uncensored, truth is considered liberal, while "entertainment news" shows which tell selected "half-truths" are considered conservative?

Go to Chicago, the bastion of the Democratic party, and see how much freedom you have to work against the 'liberal' government there.

I have no problem debating the merits of one general political thought process over another, but let's use some honest nomenclature, eh? Democrats want less freedom in the economic theater, and more in the social realm (unless they know what's best for everyone, in which case they are more than happy to try and control your social life with legislation as well, social engineering and all). Republicans want more economic freedom, but would prefer a more homogeneous, regulated social structure. They both have major faults, they both are rife with corruption, and neither party really represents its constituents particularly well right now. We're a country of moderates who lean a little right or a little left, but the extremes on either end are always dragging those in the middle towards them. Neither party is better than the other.

Whatever happened to Civil Rights ? This turkey, Obama, has been in office for over two years now and he hasn't granted White Muslims in Israel and Palestine full Civil Rights nor has he released them from Israeli Gulags. There's some 4 million or so Muslims held illegally by Israel. US facist puppets in Egypt and Jordan imprison another 5 million Palestinian refugees. They should also be release and repatriated back to their homes.

improve the country? While that may be the desired result, it has been proven over and over that the way liberals want to improve this country has destroyed many other countries fiscally, not to mention morally.

I don't think anyone deny's that the press is liberal anymore, do they? Anyone? Lefty's do any of you deny that the mainstream press is liberal? And of course we can add:

-Our education system.

-College professors and most of the admin.

-Hollywood.

"liberal" and "democratic party" are not synonyms. I did not speak about democrats or republicans, but about freedom of the press.
