I just ran 12 miles at the gym on a treadmill as it was below zero outside. It's probably 75 degrees or so in the gym (not killer I know), but there is no air circulation. After about 30 minutes I can literally wring out my shirt if I want. I haven't weighed myself since last week when I was 158lbs, but after today's run, even after downing a liter of water, I weighed 151.8lbs. I couldn't believe it. Assuming I was 158 pounds going in and the water I drank was about 1 liter (1 kilogram), that means I lost nearly 8.5 pounds.
Thank goodness it's supposed to warm up tomorrow.
