Has anyone ever done this before, and if so, can you provide your thoughts and impressions? I'm registered and planning on using it as predictor for Boston. Any feedback would be appreciated!

- not a PR course due to the hills in CP. They're not crazy but I think they make about 1min difference
- CP is nice, of course. Rolling hills, find your pace and go with the flow, leave some engery
- running thru Times Sq is awesome, even though there's hardly anyone at that time
- West Side Highway is kinda boring, but what do you expect when you run on a highway? ;)
- West Side Highway can be windy. Wind could come from south
- NYRR puts on great events, everything is extremely well organized. After all, they have races weekend after weekend
Overall, due to the hills and the wind, I'd say it's a pretty good benchmark for Boston and timing is also good. Enjoy!
My impression is that the crowd support is pretty good in Times Square (although this is not a long stretch of the course). The West Side Highway is the last 4 or so miles and is pretty dead, crowd wise, but flat.
They moved it to the Spring after two unbearably hot Summer races. That was a good move.
The NYRR does a good job policing starting corrals.
