Hi all, I am a 23yr old male who is considering hanging up the spikes if the outdoor season does not go well. I had a lot of good/consistent races from age 18-21 and rarely any bad ones. However, the last two years I have not really PBed at all (aside from the mile-which I never really ran before). I progressed from age 18-21 as so: 1500 402-352. 3000 850-825. 5k 1550-1442. 10k 33-3056. then, since that point I have not PBed, my workouts have generally felt awful and dont have the same feel--everytime that I go lactic I slow down a lot and just cant respond at all. had a few minor injuries but didnt miss much time/ran through them. I have had no speed--my mile/1500 has suffered the most. (have not come within 7secs of my 15pb). my IT-band has been tight for a bit of this stretch but I've run through that and fought through a hamstring problem without missing too much training. anyone have any input/ideas as to WHAT IS GOING ON here?
