They are terrible. Slash saved the day for me. Well, at least 60 seconds of this garbage.

I agree...but at least they were better than Prince was a few years ago...talk about suck.
Slash was slightly interesting but this whole show was bad.
I'm pretty sure every member of the Black Eyed Peas would be booted from American Idol in the tryout round. No talent.

They were even worse than Prince.
Yeah. I went there.
The Black Eyed Peas are awesome.
They're fresh & innovative, they have catchy, positive, and upbeat songs, and they aren't cookie-cutter trash pop music like Kesha.
Also, $100 to the first one to run a race in that light vest.
they really were very bad. some of their songs are good but that performance was incredibly boring. there was nothing exciting happening the entire time. Slash was cool, that was it.

Wow!!!!! I find that hard to believe....
but I guess some people do have different opinions...
The vocal performances were very flat and I wasn't a fan of them doing 20 seconds of every song.
Anyone think that Fergie can't sing worth sour owl shit?
I think that was a very solid and entertaining show by the Black Eyed Peas.
I like Tom Petty and the like but it is nice to see The Super Bowl finally some performers under 50 for a change.

That had to be one of the worst Super Bowl Halftime Show I've seen and heard. Fergie's performance only strengthens my belief that she cannot sing. Just another auto-tuned pop star.

They were known as "The Peas" until they met Chuck Norris.
The Who were completely out of tune last year and probably shouldn't have done the SuperBowl act, but at least people can say that decades of touring has ruined their voices.
The BEP continue to be a huge seller, and yet none of them can sing or play an instrument. Amazing how voice processing (ie, autotune) can take a group of mediocre singers and make them international stars.
Drudge has a link to an article describing their performance as "stiff". Perfect word to describe it. It looked like they were uncomfortable and self conscious in those ridiculous costumes.
I actually really liked it.... then again, our tv was set on low volume, we were drinking wine, and eating so...
