Not that I can tell you were to get better advice, but the more I read this board, the more obvious it becomes that running is dominated by superstition and things people made up in their heads that they wish were true. Most of the posters here are worse than clueless; their advice is more likely to exacerbate your injuries than fix them. It's really a warning about the nature of running in general. If you get hurt, you are on your own, because the science of treating running injuries is so primitive that bad ideas easily flourish.
