Read the piece on him from the Boston Globe. I fear that when he gets to Oregon and out from the 24/7 control of his parents that the new found freedom could take its toll on him. My experience as a college administrator (many years ago) taught me that the kids who came from very controlling parents and, thus, rarely had to make decisions about what to do with their time all too often had troubles.
