Is anyone else following the Tallinn Heptathlon? Ashton Eaton has PB'd in the 60m (took 1st), indoor-PB'd in the LJ (took 1st), and PR'd in the SP for the second time in a week (just PB'd last week at Millrose by 3ft).
I've been a Bryan Clay fanatic since way back before everyone else 'discovered' him (back when Pappas was still the US flavor du jour), but I have to say, Eaton is going to be even better than Clay & Hardee.
I predict this kid is going to break 9000 in the Decathlon a couple of times in the next few years, once his body matures and the throws start coming up.
The 2011 WCs and 2012 Olys really really could have USA medal 1-2-3. Great time for us in the combined events!
