Anyone know where they can be found? They must exist since flotrack has the Meyo Mile field on their site.

This Meet always has great competition because everyone likes the oversize track. However, Joe Piane is a douche bag and runs a shitty meet. That means that you can't find out who is in what event until the day of the meet. Results take forever to be posted. It is a shame that a school like ND with unlimited $$$ doesn't do a thing to promote the sport.

Unfortunately Joe will always be that way and things won't change until he retires and a new coach comes in that has some respect for the sport and for others. In the meantime, just accept the way it is and don't plan to see start lists or immediate results. If you expect it you will get very frustrated.
Coach Piane doesn't care. I know of 3 guys that all wanted to go to Notre Dame that all became All Americans elsewhere, that were turned off by Piane. In Illinois there is a large number of coaches that would never send a kid to Notre Dame.
They're up - just not on ND website
I guess if I am going to complain about Notre Dame, I should also give them credit. The live results from the Meyo meet were done very well. It was nice to see.
start lists for the meet were on ND's website Thursday. they were under 2011 meet information. look around before you talk shit.

Moron. I think you overlook Mr. Jeremy I just went 3:59 in the Meyo Mile Rae. That kid had a list of schools he wanted to go to after dropping a 4:02 mile in high school and they all laughed and rejected him. Notre Dame took him seriously and now look what they have.
This meet is slipping big time. This is an oversized track that is faster than any track in the midwest but now the distance events are faster at Indiana on a 200 meter track. I don't know why this is, but it is.

Thus my post giving them credit. The bottom line is they have done a very poor job of hosting meets and haven't used modern technology to their advantage and teams and athletes have suffered. Looks like they may be changing their ways and that is why I gave them credit. With a 14:17 winning the 5k, it looks like they may need to do something to get their meet back to where it should be.
Wisconsin has gone to Meyo for a long time and passed this year. They went to the new facility in Geneva, OH (300m, 8 lane with 10 lane straight).Six guys under 8:00 in the 3K. 800 and Mile were solid, but not spectacular. There were maybe six schools that brought varying size squads. Word out there is that this place will be the permanent home for the indoor Big Tens. Thank God, there are some real barns in the Big Ten.http://www.directathletics.com/results/track/18469.htmlPlace Overall Name Year Team Time Score1 1 Darling, Maverick SO-2 Wisconsin 7:52.31 -2 2 Milne, Taylor Guelph 7:55.14 -3 3 Connor, Reed SO-2 Wisconsin 7:56.77 -4 4 Williams, Kevin SO-2 Oklahoma 7:57.46 -5 5 Schwab, Kevin SO-2 Oklahoma 7:57.60 -6 6 Alex, George JR-3 Oklahoma 7:58.30 -7 7 Hurysz, Jake FR-1 North Carolina 8:01.97 -8 8 Cabral, Donn JR-3 Princeton 8:02.07 -9 9 Kogel, Bill SO-2 Oklahoma 8:04.61 -10 10 Boorsma, Kyle Guelph 8:07.45 -11 11 Soloff, Kyle SR-4 Princeton 8:08.19 -12 14 Cheruiyot, Ben JR-3 Auburn 8:11.40 -13 15 Green, Adam SR-4 Ohio State 8:11.57 -14 20 Leung, Brian JR-3 Princeton 8:25.19 -15 Stilin, Joe JR-3 Princeton NT - Finals: Heat #2 Place Overall Name Year Team Time Score1 12 Brunsting, Matt Guelph 8:08.31 -2 13 Cunningham, Adam SR-4 North Carolina 8:09.37 -3 16 Nixon, Andrew Guelph 8:16.20 -4 17 Brett, Allan Guelph 8:17.48 -5 18 Snider, Derek Guelph 8:21.13 -6 19 Raneri, John FR-1 North Carolina 8:23.35 -7 21 Schellberg, Pat FR-1 North Carolina 8:26.91 -8 22 Peake, Joby JR-3 Auburn 8:33.42 -9 Edwards, Jake SR-4 Ohio State NT -

The host schools would be loath to give up hosting the meet, I think. Many of the facilities are not great but are adequate to host the meet. And, if they do not host the meet (i.e., it is somewhere fixed, as opposed to not at their facility because the facility is not up to snuff), then they lose one prong in an effort to get better facilities.
