Okay, have any of you ever gone back to school amid a successful career?
I work for a very good company. I make good money. My position is secure. Financially, I am content. I am 30 years old, married with 2 kids.
I have always wanted to do something in the medical field, and I have been thinking about going back to school - starting with a post-bac program to get my pre reqs for everything health related.
I would do this in the evenings and hopefully find time to ace everything.
This is what I want to do. I do not need to do it.
Has anyone ever done this? For anything? I am not talking about going back to further a current degree, but to start something totally new.
I am older than most people who change directions, but I am still young. Also, I am financially okay, so if I DID decide to go back full time after the post-bac, we would be fine for a few years.
Is this idea just stupid?
