I enjoyed the preview of the upcoming Boston Meet. But the stuff I had to read through before that ... not good. Reading, especially about sports (all kinds), is probably my #1 leisure activity, and I was bored when I clicked on the preview, so almost anything would have entertained me, running-related or not. But wow, the "preamble" was bad: neither informative nor entertaining.
We're told to see the movie "The Fall" before we die. Why? No reason given other than a little girl in it is supposedly a good character actor. What's the movie about? No clue.
And then there's this gem: "The first recommendation might be thought of as a book. See, I don't just say, 'It’s a book' because much of the book talks about how our mindfulness, creativity and joy suffer when we communicate with each other in unconditional facts."
That's bad. Unconditionally.
Let's Run-produced content has the potential to draw a huge readership. But Mort's non-running brain dumps are not going to make that happen.
