I don't really understand why Lukas V. would even be considered to go pro. While I won't deny that he is an amazing talent, he's not a huge talent when considered in the big picture of U.S. Distance running. It seems more recently (over the past few years) that many college runners can go sub 4:00 in the mile and that times within overall distance running are getting better and better. With training in college, many talented runners from high school become even better than Lukas V. (with overall increases of training and quality work). I guess I'm a bit surprised that Lukas V., just coming out of high school would be considered over many talented college runners that are faster and have longer and better training under their belts out of college
