I thought for sure that many folks would make guesses at the time, make comment pro and con etc but it looks like nobody cares about a WR attempt on American soil.
Do any other countries have these indoor tracks or is that just an american thing?
The official indoor 2-mile WR is 8:04.35 by Bekele, which looks pretty tough to me. Lagat is talking about the AR. It is NOT a WR attempt on Americam soil, unless he's playing his cards close to his vest (of course, he might be).
