Will Rapistberger get his third ring?
Will Rapistberger get his third ring?
As a Steeler fan, this game makes me nervous. I don't like the matchup of Raji vs. Legursky. I also don't like Rodgers + GB's wide receivers, on turf, versus the Steeler secondary. Pittsburgh only has one good corner. Rodgers is very good under pressure, too. The Steelers haven't faced a qb like him in the playoffs, having only beaten Flacco and Sanchez, both average quarterbacks in my mind.
I hate to say it but I think the Steelers are going to get curbstomped. That said, Green Bay is a classy organization, so it won't hurt losing to them. Plus their head coach has Pittsburgh roots anyway. It's almost guaranteed to be an entertaining game no matter what happens.

Keep calling him names. Just don't forget to add Champion you pissy little bitch!
Care to explain how the Packers will bullshit them?

Rapistberger Champion....still a rapist.
As a packer fan, I'm made quite nervous by the steelers LB's, defensive line, and offensive line. The packers haven't been able to stop the run very well this year, and I think that mendenhall could have a big performance. However, Raji has been dynamite the past few weeks, and since Big Ben isn't a great passer, we will probably bring a lot of CB blitzes and I can definitely see Woodson helping out on running plays. The combination of Raji, Woodson, Matthews and Hawk is pretty daunting.
I think it's a little crazy that the Packers are 3 point favorites, but you bring up an excellent point about the steelers vs average quarterbacks. However, despite both teams having great defenses, I think this game is going to be a high scoring affair, because of the packers inability to stop the run, and Rodgers ability to spread the love all over the field.
Go Packers.
Despite glimmers of hope for a Packers run game, Pittsburgh will shut down the ground game. Granted Rodgers is a good QB, but they can't be one dimensional all game especially with a defense as good as the Steelers. I'll take Pitt 31-24
Hate to repsond to a thread with bs in the title but I guess I will.
I think if there are zero turnovers and few and evenly distributed penalties, the Packers will win.
I think the Packers are the better team overall.
But the Steelers have an uncoventional way of winning.
They make big, timely plays on both sides of the ball especially with their defense causing turnovers.
I look for it to be a good game.
Everyone knows about the Steelers and their 6 Super Bowl wins but the Packers have 6 NFL Championships to go with their 3 Super Bowl wins.
Pretty serious football history here.

Won two championships, working on a third. That is fact.
Never charged much less convicted of any sexual crime. Keep crying you pissy bitch while Ben and all the Steelers fan from coast to coast keep celebrating. Let me guess, you're a Patriots or Ravens fan. Fu ck off!

I am a long time Steeler's fan and I pretty much feel the same. BUT, as a previous poster stated, the Steelers do have a knack for finding a way to win. I lost all respect for Ben this year but if the game is close in the 4th quarter there are few quarterbacks I would rather have on my team. Troy will be playing hurt so that may impact the effectiveness of the defense of which Rodgers can take advantage.
Should be a damn good game.
Actually, the Packers were pretty one-dimensional in their trouncing of the Falcons, and the running game they did have was facilitated by their passing game.
And you can hardly call the Packers passing game one-dimensional when they have so many receivers capable of making big plays, combined with the outstanding mobility (and awareness) of Rodgers in or out of the pocket.
If only I could get some cheese curds in NYC, I'd be happy as a bull in a pasture full of heifers.

Green Bay has 12 NFL championships (3 of those are Super Bowl wins).
Steelers should be favored going in. Hopefully Green Bay will find a way.
My fear is that Pittsburgh will win.
Steelers really haven't beaten anybody good this entire year except the Ravens & Jets. (falcons in OT in week 1, but anything can happen in week 1). They've got experience which is huge.
Packers remind me of the Giants a few years ago, but even better. Won 3 straight Away play off games. Plus 2 big games at the end of the season. Simply on fire.
Last year when they played the Steelers they had no problem scoring on them. Their defense is where they struggled. D is much better this year.

Defend the rapist. If you were her father I'm not so sure you'd be sucking Ben's balls like you are now. Roger Goodell knew Ben was guilty and a POS on par with Pacman, suspended for 4 games with no appeal because the rapist knew he wasn't getting away with, well rape.

OK, they have 3 end of season championships when there was no Championship game to add to their 6 pre Super Bowl NFL Championships and 3 Super Bowl wins.
