I have just started running in these shoes (about 20 miles) and I think they are great. I am thinking about making these my "everyday" shoe (I use the Elixir now). Any thoughts on this? Anyone else using these as an everyday shoe and having success?
Also, how many miles can you get out of each pair?

i trained in the mushas for about 1300 miles over 2 pairs. i'm currently in the green silence. I like the musha upper better but the green silence sole.
I have trained in Mushas for 2+ years. They are excellent. The heel:toe drop is 9mm which I prefer to the 12mm Elixir. If you like a touch of arch support, you might check out the Saucony Mirage for training or the Fastwitch for racing. The heel:toe for both is 4mm.
My brother is a Musha addict.
He literally has about 6-7 brand new pairs sitting in his closet, as well as 3 or 4 he rotates, and a few retired pairs.
He usually gets about 500 miles or so out of them (as did I when I bought a pair). The upper is usually the first thing to go.
He uses them as his everyday running shoe, as did I, and has found great success with them. Not to mention they look pretty BA.

Where did you get the Mirage. I did not think it was out yet?
Mirage was released 2/1/11 I believe. I'm sure a good deal of specialty stores got advanced shipments.
How much support does the Musha give?
As relatively lower profile shoes go, the Musha is very stable under the arch. The wave plate provides integrity under the heel and midfoot and a forefoot flex.
Suitable up to mild, moderate, or severe overpronators?
i love the musha. ran in the v1 (ugly green/orange ones), the v2 (ugly blue ones) and now the v3 (ugly red ones). it's a great shoe. i moved from the elixir to the musha gradually and now run all the time in the musha except when i am going on a muddy trail (as it has precisely zero useful tread in the mud).
i'm a slight overpronator and it's perfect for me. i tried the ronin and it was too neutral for me.
i typically switch mine after about 300 but i run a lot on gravel paths which rip the bottoms up pretty quickly.
I actually really like v2 colors. V3 colors aren't too bad either.
