This is very disturbing and quite honestly I couldn't get read over half but I doubt there's a silver lining in there. None of the ruthless killers were in the NFL so not many people will ever hear of this.

Dat ain't s**t. Dey got nuttin' on me.
Well you nic indicates that you killed a cat by ironing it. That is very cruel.
Maybe Vick should be sent to play in the Canadian Football League.
They're animals.
Noone gives a f***.
Should have slaughtered 100 more.
^^Your heartless. That's not funny at all.
I don't know if i've ever cried so much over an animal thing. That was really really depressing. Very sad.
^Your?
There is a huge difference between this and the Mike Vick saga. These people had no choice as nobody in their right mind wants to adopt a canadian sled dog. On the other hand, the market for nice lovable pit bulls is very strong and the outrage at their killing was justifiable. There is a reason cities all over the world are banning sled dogs. The company made the right choice by keeping these sled dogs from infiltrating the rest of the free world.
this is awful.....

I live in a warm semi-arid climate. I do not know much about sled dogs or anything like that. Why is there no market for sled dogs and why did they therefore have to be put to death?
Does anyone remember this?

I can't find a news story on it, but in the town I went to college in someone disposed of a litter of kittens by burying them so that only their heads were sticking out and then running the lawn mower over them. When questioned as to why he did that, the man said that he had to get rid of them some how.
Stuff like this happens all the time, the Mike Vick thing was a big deal because he was in the NFL. What he did was absolutely terrible, but does anyone make a big deal about the girl who cooked a cat or the guy who mowed them over? Think 5 years from now anyone will remember that this guy did this?
Everyone talks about how Michael Vick got off easy because he's in the NFL. I think it makes it worse for him. No one will ever forget that and everyone will recognize him for it.
Not much different than the killing of billions of chickens or fish or cows each year.

"Susie was the mother of his family's pet dog 'Bumble.' He had to chase Suzie through the yard because the horrific noise she made when wounded caused him to drop the leash. Although she had the left side of her cheek blown off and her eye hanging out, he was unable to catch her. He then obtained a gun with a scope and used it to shoot her when she settled down close to another group of dogs."
Yeah, big difference, this was humane.

except for all the differences
....nice lovable pit bull...ok....
This is no worse than the daily slaughtering of chickens, cows, and pigs (who are probably self-aware and in any case are smarter than dogs).

I hope you meant only pigs were smarter than dogs, and even then its iffy.

Who cares about which animal is smarter? There are animals and then there are humans. Animals have no moral accountability, so they aren't morally responsible for doing anything wrong BUT also aren't morally responsible for doing anything right. Humans on the other hand are morally accountable and they are just an entire different thing. I don't even like using the word "kill" when describing what you do to end an animal's life. It certainly is not the same "kill" that you do to end a human's life. Killing a human and killing a dog- NOT the same meaning. So totally different that I don't even like using that word anymore to describe what you do to animals. You end their life yes but it's not the "kill" that happens to humans. Do we kill trees too? We are ending their life. Who cares if some animals are "smarter" than trees or other animals and are "self aware" etc they still have no moral accountability so it doesn't matter. There's humans and there's everything else, and I only save the word "kill" for humans.
And I also mean "kill," "murder," "massacre," "genocide," etc- those are all human terms: not animal or anything else terms. Even though "slaughter" in the definition is about preparing animals for food, there is still 100 times difference between "slaughter" for animals and "man-slaughter." 100 times difference, but some people consider it the same for animals and humans which is crazy
