I'm on my last pair and use them sparingly. Still see them a lot in photos of elites. Great shoe, too bad Nike doesn't make them any more.

Nike Zoom Marathon flats are one of the best flats Nike has ever produced. LunaRacers and Lunar Elites don't compare.

They have them stock piled. Plus those shoes (like most racing flats) are only worn during races and the occasional training sessions, so they last a few years.

Easy, they're elites. Nike makes all kinds of special shoes for their top tier athletes. Custom spikes for Bob Kennedy, El Gerrouj, Michael Johnson, etc. Happens all of the time.

On a semi-related note, it makes me sad that a lot of the Nike pros have been seen sporting Skylons, which Nike discontinued a while back. They are one of two shoes I would consider among my favorite trainers ever, there is a clear market for them, I see threads asking where they went on this board all the time, yet Nike hasn't brought them back, nor anything similar. It makes me sad.

Zoom Streak 3 is the model most Nike Elite marathoners have moved into now that the Marathoner has been retired.
