Feb 13th in New Orleans....anyone know anything about the course or race?
I ran it last year and will be heading back again this year. The course is very flat!! The only thing to worry about is for a few stretches in the middle of the race (around mile 9-10 of the half) in the historic district of New Orleans is that the roads are bad. You really have to watch your footing and be careful. If I remember correctly, there is a spot of cobblestones. Otherwise pretty decent course. Temps were perfect last year too.
Free beer and hotdogs during the race also.
