6'2" 205 hope to run orange county marathon in may. Did 18 miles yesterday that puts me at just under 70 for the week am I due to peak too early?i mean both I'm terms of mileage and increased wear and treat due to my stature.i know get a coach etc etc my retort is try hiring a coach on E-3 pay

I'll be 57 this year and weigh in at plus 190. You can get an online plan for free and follow that. You might need to back off a little and make sure you wear the correct shoes. Once you reach those higher mileages it is easier to get hurt. Good luck.
pretty sure Christian Hesch won OC a few years back, claims he's 175. i think that's a prety hilly course, iirc. not sure you might not want to find a flatter course at your size. good luck.
Just run your easy days EASY and long runs SLOW. How slow? Do the first hour so you are right at the pace where you think you could walk faster if you were walking fast.
I'd add a couple whey protein shakes a day at your size. Make sure one is after running and one is right before bed.
