Much better weather here in the mid-US this week. Managed to get out more, too. 7 days, 44 miles. Mostly in the 7:10-7:40 pace range, but did hit a few track miles of sub 6, including a 5:28 on one of the two days I ran on the indoor track. Peppered the week with a few sets of drills. First week of over 40 miles in quite a while.
Topic: How are your feet? I've got long, skinny feet, with morton's toe and a collapsing arch. I find I occasionally experience pain in my toe joints near the metatarsals, especially first and second. I've been noticing more discomfort in my feet than in my younger days. People talk about going minimal, but I can't imagine not having *some* cushion under the balls of my feet.
Hope everyone is getting their runs in. I know that the east coast got another round early in the week; must be getting old!
