I would do it myself but I'm not really a tech guy and dont have the time. Going to the browser the site takes too long to load. It would be nice to have an app with just news and message board.

I know this might sound crazy to you, but I access this site from my phone by the regular internet!
I use my old, small iPhone to read letsrun often. It works okay.
The only change that might be useful is the width of the forum automatically reflowing text when pinching to shrink or zoom the page size. Rather the scrolling left and right, and up and down, to read a message, you only have to scroll up and down. This way you could set the text size to what you liked without feeling like you've lost where you are on each forum page.
There's 2 Billion Java phones out there already. 31 times as many Java Phones shipped in 2010 as iPhones and Android combined.
Some simply html/css changes to the site to deliver a phone friendly version as appropriate would do the trick. No special app needed.
I read the site enough on my iPhone that I'm tempted to set up a scraper script myself that just rejiggers the content with some decent style sheets on the fly. Then again I seem to be spending all my spare time on this damn board (rather than coding).
I read this site perfecto with regular internet with my incredible. It loads in like 2 seconds.
and they're all pieces of shit... what's your point?
