if you were mo greene and you had a tattoo of "G.O.A.T" on your arm, would you feel a bit silly knowing that usain bolt walks the earth?

Do you know who he is? He made his bones when you were going out with cheerleaders!

if i set a world record in any event id probably have enough self confidence to consider myslef the greatest of all time..even if that record had since been broken
Until Asafa Powell came along and destroyed the "most times under 10.00" record of Greene and Bolt came along and destroyed the entire notion that 9.79 was fast (I'm being facetious), Mo Greene damn sure was the GOAT.
Just check out

sometime. Dude was good.
And if you can find it, watch the Edmonton World Champs when Greene wins a gold in the 100m while pulling up lame 50m in. He literally limped the last 50m and still won. He was in another universe in that race and it is a damn shame he got hurt. Came out of the blocks like Asafa and accelerated like Bolt. Pretty amazing to watch. He was probably on his way to the first sub-9.7 ever run.
He was making good coin at the Tropicana. You don't buy out Mo Greene. He buys you out.
He had the greatest starts ever. thanks for sharing the video. Kids and young athletes should watch his starts and try to learn something

You can see the limp (badly) at the end. There other views of this race showing the band around his lower leg just below the knee. He wasn't 100% going in, and although he got a bronze in 2004, he was never quite the same again.

No he didn't. If you want to see starts, this was Armin Hary of Germany, the Usain Bolt of his generation and the fastest starter in history (yes, the fastest starter in history is caucasian) running a hand timed 10.00 in Zurich in 1960:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8kc6MfplhEHary is in lane 4, and I defy you to watch this video the first time without thinking he cheated. There were lots of cheating claims back then, and the West Germans did some reaction time testing which showed that Hary has a reaction time of 0.045-0.05. If Bolt raced Hary, Bolt would be 0.1 second behind before he got his first foot on the ground.
There's a video on budwinter.com which talks about the Armin Hary "rocket start."
