I know of 3 races in Colorado that include one of the states 14,000' peaks.
Mount Evans Ascent in June.
Hardrock 100 in July goes up Handies Peak (14,048').
Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon in August.

This is a non-race event:
I remember seeing a website a while back about an "unofficial" race down in the Sangres. It linked up most of the 14K peaks in the Crestone group (Peak, Needle, Kit Carson, Challenger). I think the USFS or whoever had jurisdiction got wind of it and shut it down. Racing on Crestone Peak & Needle has disaster written all over it!
