I heard a rumor that the BU indoor track surface was re-done, any truth in that?

Yeah.
It was re-done in 2002.
Meatstick.
I did not know that. I kind of liked running on the old boards. How is it now?
It was completely redone in November, with new wood boards, bushings secured, triangles repaired then then a new polyurethane surface put on top. The outside jogging lane was also taken out and a much more solid lane installed. The long jump runway is also less bouncy, producing a truer runway. The 60 meters can now be run, as a solid support system was put at the end of the straight to keep runners from going off the bank. The infield was also resurfaced. All in all I can report that the updating (after 8 years) seems to be an excellent job and runners will be very happy with the track.
a little off topic...but will the heat sheets for the Terrier meet at BU this friday be posted anywhere?
Entries were due today, they'll probably be posted when they sort out all the fake times and work out the heats.

So this track will produce even more times not consistent with other facilities? How can an athlete not like running there? They all run 2 seconds faster in the 400 than they will anywhere else.
