I just finished a run and my one arch is incredibly sore. Normally this doesn't happen. Its REALLY sore and I don't know what to do! any ideas for how to stretch it? thanks!!!!

i have this same problem starting last thanksgiving. apparently it's because the calf muscles become very tight and too strong in relation to the muscles in the anterior shin and everything gets pulled out of alignment all the way down in the foot or something of the sort.
stretch your calves on a wedge or a step for a minute and then walk around a bit, and do that a bunch. also spelling the alphabet using your toes helps strengthen your shin muscles over time.
I have been dealing with this for a few months now. I think it is my sciatic nerve telling the muscle above the plantar fascia to tighten up. The tightness comes and goes and I have been trying to keep my psoas stretched out also which seems to help. Tightness in my calves don't seem to have any effect whether my arches hurt more or less.
Stretch your calves/achilles.
