The Big Ten men's championship seems wide open this year as I don't think Minnesota will run away with the titles again. I think several teams could put their names in the mix.
Indiana looks strong with their early season performances. Wisconsin hasn't had too many great performances yet, but they have several distance stars that have not been unleashed yet. I think Iowa could surprise big time. Their new sprinter could sweep the 60 and 200, they have a top flight LJ/TJ guy, and a hurdler who will challenge Riley from Illinois. Minnesota will need a healthy Mead to be in the mix in the indoor season, but I think they get a thrower with one more year of eligibility in the outdoor season. Penn State and Ohio St also have solid performers, but may not have the necessary depth. Fire away.
