I agree. He was great with Judy Garland. Now he just does those term life insurance commercials since he's so old.
Which one? I thought they were both very, very good. I was very surprised at how good they were. I may be the odd man out, however.
Casablanca
If you are down for a documentary, I highly recommend "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters." It chronoicals the rivalry that develops after an out of work Boeing employee takes down the 20+ year old Donkey Kong world record set by a video game legend. It sounds stupid, but seriously, it is awesome. You won't believe that the people in the film actually exist and how unbelievable the events in the film are.
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eight Dimension
Laugh a while you can, monkey boy!
Watch American Psycho and tell me if its good.
The German film "The Lives of Others" is probably the best movie of the last ten years.
Just saw City Island, I liked it....if you like movies about dysfunctional families, but this is different and better than the typical ones in my opinion.
I just picked up "Open Range" with Costner and R. Duvall. Saw bits n' pieces of it a while back. Looked pretty decent.
District 9
I'll suggest "Gangs of New York" if you haven't seen it. One of the great movies of the last decade that kind of fell off the radar screen of the public. It came out just after 9/11 and it wasn't exactly fashionable to see a movie that involved the destruction of parts of New York.
Thanks--watched the first nine minutes on Youtube. Looks pretty cool, in an incredibly dorky sort of way.

"Dogtooth." Greek movie. Amazingly psychological.
Broken Trail, with Robert Duvall and Thomas Hayden Church. Much in common with Lonesome Dove. Under the Radar. After Steens Mountain Camp a few years ago, it was on tv in the motel as I was on my way out for enchiladas. Two hours later, I was still standing in front of the tv set.
