I am a 21 yr old female junior in college 5k PR 17:55. Starting at 35 miles a week at the end of high school (20:30 5k), I gradually built up to 70mpw before 2010 cross country. After tapering during cross country season and taking a week off, I have run 285 miles in 29 days. The weeks have mostly been around 75, long run of 16, 3-4 doubles. BUT, i'm tired all the time, can't seem to hit times in workouts or even keep a decent pace on the long runs. This doesn't make sense to me since it worked before cross country. Should I back off miles or just hang in there and expect to see gains soon? Any advice welcome
