I heard this morning that the teams were getting moved to club sports next year... any truth to this? Both men and women? I was told it was a small blurb in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette yesterday but couldnt find anything on their website. Anyone know anything? I would hate to see that.
Baloney! There was no "blurb" in the Post-Gazette yesterday. Duquesne reorganized varsity sports January 2010 and T&F/XC was not affected.

Because Duquesne currently does not have a men's indoor track team, which has been the case for years. The men run club during the indoor season.
I apologize if this isn't true, I tried tracking down a copy of yesterday's post gazzette and couldn't, but this is just what was told to me by an acquaintance in passing. They said it was very small, like in the section where they put team's records and what not. Can anybody confirm or deny this for sure?
2/10 Nice try one day before the anniversary of Duquesne's announcement that 4 mens varsity sports were cut.
It's heartless to needlessly frighten athletes, alumni, parents and fans.
