Somewhat off the subject, but when I read those sub 4 minute times done by athletes as young as Pre in 1970 it makes me think how ridiculous it is people on this board suspect today's best American runners of doping.
They have hardly improved that much on what runners were doing decades ago even though they now have East Africans pulling them along.

Yeah, thinking about someone who actually promoted the sport, tried to make money for himself and others - its so boring.I'd rather watch that uncomfortably awkward interview with Galen Rupp which provided no information at all. That is what will make Track and Field more popular.
