Last Sunday I ran a half-marathon, but my right calf started to cramp mid-way. It never got to the point of forcing me to stop, but it was pretty uncomfortable and somewhat of a surprise - I've never cramped there, in 35 years of running (I'm almost 50). I was well-hydrated before the race and ingested liquids regularly throughout. I have a huge spur on my left heel, and a smaller one under it along with manageable plantar fasciitis, and I'm guessing that it's causing me to compensate on the right side somehow. Any ideas?
