The best thing for letsrun.com is to have a privacy policy/terms of use notice that says something along the lines of: "your ip address and any other personally identifiable information will be stored, temporarily, in the event we need to contact you or proper authorities for violating terms of use"
It is funny how people shrivel up and look embarrassed when confronted about their cowardly anonymous posts on the net.
That's why I don't post anonymously. You know my name, you know where I live. You even know my phone number. 1-866-666-3772. You can call me (on my dime) and tell me I am a piece of s***. I don't care, because if you call me on my toll free line, I will see your number.
I do occasionally (about 1% of the time) post anonymously to transmit some truthful yet sensitive information.

What's the point of calling to tell remind you how funny it is when you withdraw from every race outside of Thailand? You already know that.
Yes it is funny. On another message local to my area someone accused a girl I coach of saying something horrible that she DID NOT say. People defended her, the guy (kid) persisted. So, I went on and said that it was slander/libel and that the girl's school and parents have contacted a lawyer. The never accused her again. Of course, a lawyer was never contacted.
