People just have no idea how bad of shape our sport is in. Even though participation is among the highest within XC/T&F these administrators continue to slash the programs across the nation. Get out if you think this sport is going anywhere. Don't think about getting into coaching XC/T&F it's a dead end:
This is just one more obvious case of title IX being used as cover by administrators who don't give a shit about cross country or track. Anyone who blames title IX and not football needs to wake the f*** up. Read the SI article for some of the details.
