At age 21, I hung up the track spikes for good. Or so I thought. Recently - five years and fifty pounds later - I've decided to resume distance running as a recreational pastime.
My quandary is this: I'd rather not lose any mass. My increase in size has been due, primarily, to weight-lifting and nightly protein shakes. I've gone from 150lbs to 210lbs. I stand 6 feet, 3 inches tall.
I aim to continue those gym workouts, but should I also self-impose a limit to weekly milage? Or, what steps should I take to ensure I do not lose the weight I've assiduously toiled to gain?
Advice is greatly appreciated.
