For one of my classes we have labs as well as projects. My friend is my lab partner in class but we had another project due at the end of this week which said we could either work alone or with someone else. I assumed that we were only lab partners in lab and the project would be different and finished the whole project and turned it in. Except today my lab partner called me (they haven't started yet) and asked me about it and whether I'd started it and when we should turn it in. I stumbled and said it was easy and made up something about how I didn't have it on me but I could try to show them tomorrow.. but I think they expected that we were working together on it or something. What do I do? How do I go about this? I feel kinda bad, especially telling them I already turned it in because I didn't know we were going to work on THIS together... also we will be lab partners the rest of the semester so...
