I know its not just at a few schools, its at a lot of schools, all over the U.S, not just in cities but in rural areas too.
I hope this is a good thing, I mean do Asian kids adjust well in America? Do Asian Americans adjust well to America? I think the pressure to succeed in Asian culture, especially Chinese and Korean, pushes Asian people to extremes when they don't perform their best, they hurt themselves and others.
I have heard of hundreds of stories of Asian children in the U.S thinking of committing suicide. Many of them smart young and talented, just not the smartest, or most talented in their local area and therefore they consider themselves a failure.
I remember vividly the shooting at Virginia Tech and wonder if this drive to succeed was in somehow responsible, perhaps he wasn't good enough and this led him to lash out.
