Hey guys, I am here to ask a life or death question. Well not really but still. I'm wondering if it is a possibility I could run about 9:15 in the outdoor 3200 if I ran only a 9:38 last year.
The year before the 9:38 my winter base was between 20 and 40 mpw (usually on the lesser side) and it was off of an xc season of 30 mpw and a sumemr of 15 mpw.
This year im steadily in the 60-70 mpw range so far this winter and was in the 50-60 range in the sumemr and 50 in xc.
With the increased volume as well as faster pace (easy runs at 7 min pace instead of 8 min pace) and a temp oonce per week til mid feb and then hills and a tempo every week would it be enough to meet this goal? or not even close?
Please, lift my hopes up or dash them.
