It was up here a couple years ago but there is a video of a lady of Asian descent finishing a marathon on a track and she falls down 3-4 times over the last 400 meters. Anybody know where I can find this video?

That is a great video, except she isn't Asian, she is Cuban.
You idiot. She's not Asian, she is Japanese.
Can't believe the officials allowed that to continue.
I would finish like that for a 2:41 marathon.
You kind of have to see that video in context for it to have the full impact. This video, from around 16 km, does it the best. Keep watching all the way to the end.
That's not too bad. This Swiss woman in LA in '84 was much farther one:
While we have some experts on line, a few years back I watched a Japanese male win a marathon using this exaggerated bicycle peddling motion with his hands out in front of him for the last mile or so. Hilarious stuff. But I haven't been able to find it as of late.

Yup, Gabriela Andersen was the first thing I thought of. That was much, much worse than the video of the Japanese woman.

You idiot. She's not Asian, she is Japanese.Japanese are Mongols like Russians, Poles, Turks, Hungarians, Estonians, Iranans, Afghans, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. We Mongols conquered everyone. (well, almost everyone).
I laughed out loud because she looks exactly like a zombie. How did Olympic officials let her continue? Did they not know about heat stroke in 1984?
According to wiki (which we know is always right) they determined she was still sweating and therefore was okay for a while still. Apparently it took her almost five minutes to cover the last c.400m. I remember it being water cooler talk the next day. She looked SO bad...

As someone else pointed out he is Kentaro Ito, and the video is gone from Youtube. He's running the Beppu-Oita Mainichi Marathon on Feb. 6, though, so you might be able to see him on the broadcast although it's not likely he'll be up front for long.
Wow, when will she try another marathon Brett, what a champ?

I think that "Brett Larner" means "Spineless Liar" in Japanese.

Thanks for pointing me to that. Even equipped with the runner's name in hand, I'm unable to find any link to it either. That's too bad. That video should have been archived in a Swedish cold war bunker or shot into space as part of a Planet Earth time capsule to be preserved for the ages. It's three years later, and I still chuckle when reminded of it.
