Do they usually have pacers for the mile at Boston Indoor Games? I think they do. Let's assume there's someone to take the field out in 1:56-1:58.
My guess is Webb loses to Willis but runs 3:55.9.
Your thoughts?

3:54.21, loses to Willis and Lukas V.
DNS
3:53.89
suprises the haters, hints at better things to come
4:01.17, placing third in a tactical race.
Would be surprised if Lukas V. won. If he did, i'm sure the Colleges would be falling over themselves even more to get him. Would also be a miracle.
If LV even hits under 4 I will shit bricks.
blanket finish between webb and willis in 3:55-3:56. Could go either way.
Webb in 3:56
How can you even venture a guess without knowing what his recent workouts have been?
recent races.
I guess we now need to know specific workouts to GUESS at what someones race time is going to be. When did this stipulation begin?
Very early in the year, will go 2:00/1:56 with a 27+ last lap.
Willis- 3:56.1
Webb- 3:56.5
Lukas- 4:00.8, I really think this guy might break 4 but we'll see what the opening laps do to him, He might go 2:00/2:00 and just need some sharpening and another race for a 3:59.
the new and improved webb 2.0 is gonna spank the track. 352.5
3:52
Random question does anyone think Alan Webb wants to keep his reputation of being the only high schooler to run under 4 indoors or does he want to help out Lukas?
Because I could easily see Lukas breaking 4 if all the work is done for him pacing...or this could be a repeat of the Tyson Invitational in 2009. Remember that race? Slow opening, Willis ran 4:02, Webb ran 4:05 off a very slow pace, and the race was in close proximity of Willis running 3:53 so it wasn't like he wasn't in shape or anything.
I'll go with Willis FTW, Webb in a relatively close second. I haven't looked at others in the field, so I don't know what Lucas' chances are at 3rd, but I'd be astonished if he placed any higher. As for times, I'll go with something like:
Willis - 3:56
Webb - 3:57
Verzbicas - 4:02ish
I know nothing of any of their training though, so those are complete guesses.
I would also love to see Webb win in something very fast as the guy has had a rough couple of years.
Should be interesting.

I don't think this goes slow for Webb. Pretty sure he needs the A standard and he isn't going to want to waste any races by running anything over 3:58.

So you're saying that in Webb's first race of the year, he will ask for official timing at 1500m, with the plans of being inside 3:35.00 at the 1500m split, which would make this a 3:50 mile race, with 3:50 or better indoors having only been run seven times in history?

Yes, that is exactly what I said. Damn people I said he wasn't going to WASTE any races. Meaning coming out and running 4:00 does nothing for him as far as gauging his fitness/speed at this point in training. By not WASTING a race I meant he will want to run fast, for him in January, which I would guess to be around 3:56.
Webb stuns the world with 3:47.9, taking down El G's old indoor world record. A demoralized Willis finishes a distant second in 3:59.
